Hi Chris,

Thanks for the awesome plugin. I have a question/suggestion.

I've been trying to get your plugin to tweet[post title+author name+link], but without success.

The scenario I have is that I have multiple authors (tweeting to one Twitter account) and I'm trying to get the tweet to include the author's name (something like: a day in the sun (by James smith) bit.ly

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Danny.

Nice plugin !
Good job !

I just have to add this to work on my server :

if (!function_exists('curl_setopt_array')) {
   function curl_setopt_array(&$ch, $curl_options)
   {
       foreach ($curl_options as $option => $value) {
           if (!curl_setopt($ch, $option, $value)) {
               return false;
           }
       }
       return true;
   }

This sounds like a great plugin. Unfortunately I don't see it pulling any of the Twitter comments to my posts. If I understand your comments above, it might be because the original tweet was not sent out through your plugin and replied to? Hmmm - since many retweets seem to be sent out by HootSuite these days (ow.ly), this plugin may not give me the functionality I require. I look forward to your response!

All my best,

Lara

It uses the Twitter API to pull them back, so it requires that the replies to your Blog tweet have used the Reply button. Because it uses the Twitter API, it also means that if you are an extremely high tweeter, they might get lost in the hourly comment pull.

I know this doesn't solve your problem, and maybe I'll see if there is something else I can do to improve the accuracy of it, but hope you understand how it works a little better.

Let me know if you have any other comments or suggestions.

Hi. The plugin is not pulling back all twitter mentions as comments - for example there have been comments on Twitter about http://bit.ly/27j7In but these are not showing as comments. I have tried manually importing the comments but this has not worked either

Thanks for the suggestion and the info about the bad email. I fixed that. I'll check into what Twitter Publisher does.

I love the idea of your plugin, but I'm afraid it will conflict with one I already have. I currently use the Twitter Publisher plugin so that not only will the post be tweeted on posting, but it allows Google Analytics to track clicks coming from Twitter. It greatly helps me see where my traffic is coming from.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have your ability to post responses to those tweets as comments that I'm aware of.

Can you look at Twitter Publisher, and see if you're able to have your plugin complement it or incorporate what it does so that I can have both features enabled?

Also,
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 No Such User Here (state 14).
